Hi Mr. Kurumi , I want to connect with SHA1 authentication level to my Hexing meter. The GXDLMS Director don't support that function in the Authentication menu (only none, low, high) for that manufacturer .
How can I add that function manually or how can I connect with SHA1 authentication level when I try to connect with my meter?? Is possible to do that?? Please support me.
regards Lambros
Hi Lambros, Are you sure…
Hi Lambros,
Are you sure that your Hexing is using SHA1? Our customers are reading meters that support AES1.
Try to change the authentication level to High. Set the correct password and try to connect.

Mikko
Thank you for your reply…
Thank you for your reply. Yes I am sure!! The newest Hexing meters support HLS SHA1 security, I can't connect any more on the newest Hexing meters (2024 update) with HLS settings of GXDLMSdiriector. The meter respond error ''Invalid password Server to client challenge don't match''.
I upload log with Hexing OEM software to see .

Is possible to help me to connect with SHA1 security with GXDLMSdiriector software??
Regards Lambros
Hi Lambros, Restart…
Hi Lambros,
Restart GXDLMSDirector. You can see "New Manufacturer settings Available" on the top menu. Select that and the new settings are updated. You can now see the HighSHA1 authentication level.
If you can't see it, Update GXDLMSDirector to version 9.0.2412.0301. It might be that you need to remove the old version because the signing certificate has updated.
Then Remove this folder and start GXDLMSDirector again.
