Register values returned by the Cewe Prometer

Good morning,
I have a problem with the readings returned by the Cewe Prometer because I get values in scientific notation that are too large and above all not consecutive, some are positive and some are negative.
This morning I read the register 1.1.1.8.0.255 obtaining these values:
2.44254079929944E+86 at 07:02
3.72556784430944E+29 at 08:11
Does anyone know the reason and how to solve it?

Hi Giacomo,

Can you add the hex trace from the read and reply so I can check this?
What programming language are you using?
