Hello Mikko,
I am tring to read out the meters using a PLC Modem.
I use an Evaluation Kit from Microchip PL360-EK.
I am programming the board as Service modem.
I get some data (trace) but no available meters are shown. Although I have meters connected to the PLC network.
Would you please tak a look in the trace? and let me know your comments

Many Thanks
Frank

Hi,

Hi,
Can you send data as plain text. Reading bytes from the image is painful.

Send the trace and I can check this next week. My weekend starts after 3 mins. :-)

BR,
Mikko

Hi,

Hi,

I received your trace. It seems that your meter is using PLC IEC 61334-4-32, but the reply data is strange. Are your serial port settings correct? Begin of the packet is not correct and the sender and received addresses are not in the received data. Check your serial port settings first.

Received data should start with 0x02.

BR,
Mikko
