How do I input the OBIS code that contains the alphabet "C" in The DLMSDirector. Eg.

Credit Balance OBIS code = c.51.0

I get an error saying "Input string was not in correct Format"

Hi,

c.51.0 is used in IEC 62056-21 and you can't use it with DLMS.

Make sure that your meter can use DLMS and not just IEC 62056-21.

If your meter is supporting DLMS you can read association view and get a list of all the object what your meter is supporting.

Thank you for the reply.

However, my meter (Hexing HXE310-KP) doesn't support association view. I only read objects manually.

Is there any way to get c.51.0 work? Because reading through bthe meter manual, I found it in the list of OBIS codes.

Or Is there any better way to check the credit balance on the meter using gurux Python?

Hi,

You need to convert c.51.0 to six bytes long OBIS code. Something like 1.0.1.51.0.255. You need 6 bytes long obis codes also if you want to use python.

Yeah.. I tried converting C to 12. Is it the right thing to do?

I used something like 1.0.12.51.0.255, but it didn't give me what I wanted.
