Good Morning,

I have been using the DLMSDirector with a Sagemcom CX2000-9 meter using a Optical probe through a Ethernet Gateway and the connection when using none authentication is successful. The problem comes when we try to read the meter with low profile using the password provided by the manufacturer becouse we recive the error " The connection is permanently rejected Authentication failure". Do you see if there is something wrong with its configuration?

Hi,

Your client address is wrong if your password is correct. Client address can be anything, you need to check it from the meter documentation. If it's not there, you can try values 1 and 0x20.

Thanks for the info. I tried both client IDs without success. The CX2000 I want to read is not labeled as DLMS but PRIME. As far as I know PRIME uses the DLMS/COSEM protocol through the optical port. Becouse of this , could be necessary to modify some parameters in the DLMS Director?.

Hi,

The only parameters that cause this error are client address and password. One of them is wrong.
