I am connecting to the Meter using "Serial over Ethernet", the connection is successfully done.
When I try to read for example the "1.0.1.8.0.255" register, DLMSDirector is sending and receiving without any problems, but I don't have any values.
When I repeat the "Read" process about three times, I receive "" then connect again to meter and "Read" again it I receive correct value !

The problem is repetitive, and I tried for many meters and have the same behavior. But sometimes I receive the value from the first "Read".

Hi,
You are receiving GatewayRequest and the HDLC frame is the supervisory frame. This is wrong and the client accepts it as a reply. Are you communicating directly with the meter or is there a gateway in the middle?

Yes I am just using a "Serial to Ethernet" Converter in the middle.
Meter:RS485 > Converter > IP:Port
The serial port of the converter is mapped to IP & Port, I am using "Serial over Ethernet" option in Gurux configuration.
It was working most of the time, but sometimes I have this behavior.

And it is almost repeated for 1 meter of 176, sometimes the problem shows in other meters but less often.

Your meter is sending EventNotificationReques where HDLC sequence ID is 3. We have improved this and the new version is released at the beginning of January.
