Can not write value for Data objects

Hi Mikko,

I used Gurux Director for meter testing, however currently I found an issue in writing Data object due to data type "None".
If I used saved gxc file in which previously saved datatype which support the object, write works perfect.
In opposite to it, if I add new device and download all objects which have "None" data type set in Data objects. Now I try to write directly to any object then get attached error.
But if I read prior to write any Data object value then it works, as data type is changed after Read operaion.

Can you please provide support on this?

Hi,

This is a complex problem. We don't want to read all the unknown values from the meter to update the data types because it will take so long time.

At the moment you only need to read value before you write it. I'll have an idea of how to solve this, but it needs to test with several different meters first.
