Do [Landis Dyr E650 + Battery] + [CU-B2] work for DLMSDirector ?

Hi friends,

I would like to use the DLMSDirector to read data from a Landis Dyr E650 meter, the meter is with battery only, without AC connection. --I can see some data by press the buttons on meter.

so if I install DLMSDirector and connect my pc to the meter cu-B2 using a USB-RJ11 cable,
and the meter is with the battery only, can I read the meter data ? or I have to connect the meter to AC ?

Hi,

We don't have this model from E650 that you can use with battery, so I can't test this.
You usually need to power the electrical meter if you want to communicate with it.
Gas and water meters don't need the external power and they are operating with batteries.
