Hello,
I am trying to connect to a Clou DLMS meter and am having trouble getting a response. I keep getting "Failed to receive reply from the device in a given time." I've attached the pictures of the settings I used.
In the logs, it appears the meter isn't responding to an SNRM request.
I am using an infrared optical probe to communicate with the meter. The driver I'm using for the probe is Silicon Labs CP210x USB to UART Bridge. I'm not sure if this is a problem with the optical probe or a problem with the meter/software.
Please let me know if I'm doing anything wrong.

If you are using an optical probe, try to change the start protocol from DLMS to IEC.

Your meter is using IEC 62053-21 protocol. That is not DLMS.
