DLMSDirector

Hello,

We are trying to read values such as the 3 ph Voltages, the 3 ph currents, Power, Power factor, and a total of about 120 odd parameters.

But we don't really know where to start from.

We are using the DLMS Python Script that you have provided.

Please advice on how to move forward to get the data.

Ambimat.

HI Ambimat,

HI Ambimat,

You don't need to parse anything. Our library will do that for you. Just set correct parameters and start reading. It might be a good idea to start with GXDLMSDirector to get a better idea from DLMS.

Hello,

Hello,

As per your advice we are moving forward with the DLMSDirector. We were able to get the v3.5 of the DLMSDirector working.

We were able to connect to the meter as well and read data.

But still don't know where the data as required here is:

Hi,

Hi,

This is manufacturer-specific data. You need to ask from the manufacturer what data is shown here.

Hello,

Hello,

Thank you for that information.

We are looking to read the meter's useful details like voltage, current etc.

How do we read the same from the DLMSDirector?

Please advice

Hi Ambimat,

Hi Ambimat,

I believe that you need to change the authentication level. I believe that you are using authentication level None at the moment and the meter is returning this info.

When you increase the authentication level, you can see more COSEM objects.

BR,
Mikko
