I'm trying to read a Landis+Gyr E450, it comes with a paper saying its DLMS firmware version is v5.22 and its reading key is 00000001. I downloaded the latest manufacturer info in GXDLMSDirector and just changed the authentication settings to low/high and setting the password as it is in the paper I got but I don't get any response from the meter.
I'm trying to read through optical port and the meter is from Spain in case this is relevant information.

Impossible to read Landis+Gyr E450
I finally could connect with it changing some settings. but when I try to read meter it says 'GetObject Failed. Invalid command'. What is the reason of this error?

Now I got an error saying Invalid Block number. it is 8 and it must be 1. What's the cause of this error?
Impossible to read Landis+Gyr E450
Hi,
Select Properties in GXDLMSDirector and check "Logical Name referencing".
New meters of L+G are supporting Logical Name Referencing. Older meters are supporting Short Name
referencing and that is a default.
If connection fails we try to send disconnect message and that causes this error what you see.
We will fix this so disconnect message is not send if connection initailize fails.
