DLMSDirector will not launch

I'm trying to launch the DLMSDirector executable file after installing it and it will not launch. I'm not getting any kind of error, but windows explorer gets stuck. I'm using windows 7 and the Version: 7.0.49.1 Released: 01/07/2016.

Is there any known problem?

I can install and run DLMSDirector, but its the wrong version

I can download, install and run DLMSDirector using the installer currently available for download, but its actually 7.0.48.1, and not 7.0.49.1. This is a problem that seems to keep recurring when the installer is updated.

There was something strange in our Continuous Delivery system.

We made new version (7.0.50.1) and it is now available.

Same problem persists for me, nothing changed. The steps I follow is installing it and trying to launch GXDLMSDirector.exe. Thanks for the support.

We have try this for several PCs and it works like should be. Try to download latest version here:
http://www.gurux.fi/Downloads/GXDLMSDirector-x86.msi
and remove old app. Then install new. If you still have problems let me know.

I uninstalled and installed last realease. However, problems persist for me. The process is running on the task manager but the GUI does not launch.

Do you mean help menu inside the application? I can't access because it does not launch at all. Or you mean something different?

We installed clean Spanish version an we do not have any problems.
Are you gettings any error or anything?
Do you know what .Net framework you have? If you do not know you can run commad below.
What result you get?
reg query "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\NET Framework Setup\NDP\v3.5"| findstr Install

I do not get any error, it just creates the process on the computer but the UI does not appear. I paste what I get in cmd:

We have try to solve this but it works on our environments.
What if you try to remove GXDLMSDirector.xml?

It shoule be here:
C:\Users\[User name]\AppData\Roaming\Gurux\GXDLMSDirector.xml

Remove it and try to start again.
Do you have any virus software that might be stop it?

I deleted everything from gurux in appdata and reinstalled.

I tried using the software again today and encountered again the same problem, and now I can't solve it using the same method.

Finally I've found the problem. It was the antivirus software (Avast), when it's deactivated it works fine.

Thanks for let us know from this.
I believe that Director try to get meter settings from the server and Avast blocks this.
For this reason UI is not shown.
