how do i change the mechanism name that's used to connect to a meter?
i'm trying to connect to an L&G E355, "Management Access" port (1) using GMAC, but i'm running into these bugs:
- when i change the "Authentication" drop-down in the "Device Properties" dialog, and click "OK". the "General/Command line parameters" textbox doesn't update. i have to select a different meter and then return back to the meter i edited for that textbox to update and reflect the option that I selected in the dialog.
- when I select "Management Access" in the drop-down (and switch devices to update the UI) , i get "-a Low" in the cmdline params, and "<MechanismName Value="Low" />" in the connection trace. that might be correct for _some_ L&G meters, but not the one i have. why can't i just manually select the MechanismName to use?

You are right about the command lime arguments. You need to select a different meter before they are updated. This is on the work list.
Low if the authentication level that is defined in DLMS standards. "Management Access" is manufacturer spesific name that is shown in GXDLMSDirector.
Command line applications use DLMS standards way handle the authentication level.
