Dear Mikko,

I am using an Indian smart meter for testing, In while reading data from the meter we are getting the following response randomly.

Can you please suggest when this error response sent by the meter?

<WRAPPER len="17" >
<SourceAddress Value="1" />
<TargetAddress Value="30" />
<PDU>
<!-- Invocation Counter: 27 -->
<!-- Decrypt data: 0E 05 03 02
<ConfirmedServiceError>
<Service Value="05" />
<ServiceError>
<Service Value="ServiceUnsupported" />
</ServiceError>
</ConfirmedServiceError>
-->
<glo_GloConfirmedServiceError Value="300000001BC30B8EC6653FEFB88EF1ADA9EC50AEFC" />
</PDU>
</WRAPPER>

Because the connection is ciphered, I can't get the error code that meter returns, but I believe that your block cipher or authentication key is wrong.

Have you read the Invocation counter before connecting to the meter?

BR,
Mikko
