Easier and time saving way to add multiple devices

I am a commissioning engineer. My daily routine is to commission Modems connected to multiple DLMS meters. I usually have to add the devices one by one with their respective properties. It is a time taking and pretty tiring process to do on a daily basis. I was wondering if there’s a simpler way to add multiple meters in very few steps.

Thanks

Hi,

I'm afraid that it's not easy. I believe that the easiest way to do this is to save the read meters to the file and use them for the next time.

If your meters are changing all the time, there is no way that you can automatically search them.

Thanks for the reply Sir…

Thanks for the reply Sir.

What if all the meters i am commissioning is of the same manufacturer. Is there any way I can input, anywhere in the software, that I want n no. of devices with same manufacturer settings but each meter will have different HDLC addresses/ Physical servers. If its not available, I would like to request the developers to please look into it. It would be a great help.

Thanks again.

Hi,

It's the easiest if someone makes this application for you. It's not hard to implement. The main problem is that implementing the generic solution is not so simple. Multiple parameters might be different.
