Hi,

I want to read Instantaneous parameters from L & T ER300P meter via optical port.
I am able to read from objects from public client address 0x10.

When I give Client address 0x15/0x16/0x17 address with Low Authentication and password it is not connecting.

Can you tell me how to proceed ? Is it that optical port gives limited information ?

Reading L & T ER300P

Hi,

Usually problem is that Client address is wrong.
Is meter returning anything when you connect?
If not, client address is wrong.

You can ask correct value from the manufacturer or try with value 0x11.
