Hello

I am trying to connect to the HXF300 via TCP. I have successfully connected to the HXE110 from the same machine in the same manner. I have tried low and high authentication with the default password of "00000000". I have also tried multiple variations of the password (6 digits, 32 digits). When connecting via the probe and using Hexview, there is an Authentication key required of 32 0's, I am not sure if this needs to be put in somewhere, although I did try to put those details in the secured connection section. Whenever I try to connect I get the "Service not available" - Operation not possible error. One of the trace messages as follows:

12:18:28 Send AARQ request.

Your assistance is greatly appreciated

Kind regards
Grant

HI Mikko

HI Mikko

Yes the current configuration does use the wrapper setting. I have attached a screenshot with the settings used. I was able to connect to a HXE130 with the same settings.

I think I unchecked that by mistake, but usually it is checked. Are there any settings on the other tabs that would need to be adjusted, for example security? Is there any other log or piece of information I can provide to try understand a bit better what is coming back? I am sure many people have successfully communicated with this device, it just feels like there is something I am missing

Hi,

Hi,

It might be that you are not allowed to connect without authentication or ciphering. Is this a new meter?
