GXDLMSNotify.parsePush() dosen't work for all push message types

Forums
Gurux DLMS for Java

We have a problem while parsing the push Interval_1(0.1.25.9.0.255) message. The error we get is "[B cannot be cast to [Ljava.lang.Object;". On debugging we identified that the ordering of the objects is important. The method GXDLMSNotify.parsePush(final Object[] data) expects the first object in the data to be an ObjectArray(data[0]) but in our case, for Push Interval_1 message from the meter it is a byte array and here the class cast exception is thrown. The parsing is working fine for installation case.

General Block Transfer (GBT) dosen't work for encrypted push messages

Forums
Gurux DLMS for Java

I am using Gurux to read COSEM messages from an electric meter. Whenever the meter sends cyphered GBT messages the library treats each message as a complete message instead of waiting for the complete block transfer.

Length of RLRQ is not correct if using HLS with Security Suite 0

Forums
Gurux DLMS for Java

Hi there,
we´ve problems using HLS with Security Suite 0 (Library Version 2.2.17).
We are able to initialize the connection, it is even possible to do some get requests, but whenever we close the connection we get a "Length of RLRQ is not correct". There are no problems when using HLS Security Suite 1 or 2.

We use HLS with Authentication (HIGH_GMAC) and Encryption against the Meter Simulator of DNV GL.
Does anyone have an idea why this error occurs?

We use the following code:

GXDLMSSecureClient client = new GXDLMSSecureClient();

Hi

We require some sample message for push notification for an outage event. The meter manufacturer is asking us for a sample message and will comply to whichever message that can be parsed by us/gurux library. Can you please provide a sample push notification for outage event?

Thanks
Yatin

Implementing MDC for Electric Meters for on Demand Pull and scheduled Push and Write Requests

Forums
Gurux DLMS for Java

We want to implement MDC for Electric Meters for on Demand Data Fetching from Meters, To record data pushed by Energy meter on scheduled interval or on alert and to write configuration to the meter.

I am programmer, I have explored the code of GURUX DLMS, although the library is good enough that it worth to utilized it, but only lacking point is that there is no proper documentation available and it could only be the reason to not utilize this library in our Project.

Help implementing DLMS with raspberry pi 3

Forums
Gurux DLMS for Java

Hi, Im new to smart meters and I want to develop a java application that sends last data measured from a Raspberry pi 3 to a microsoft azure database.

Im using the ITRON (actaris) ACE 6000 and getting all the data via Serial port. I have already configured the smart meter using the ACE Pilot and thus only need to read the following 2 addresses:

0.0.99.1.0.255 load profile 1
0.0.99.2.9.255 load profile 2

What I don't know is how to specify that I want the latest values measured.

Establishing a HLS6 connection

Forums
Gurux DLMS for Java

Hello!
I try to establish a HLS6 connection to a meter. At the moment pass 1 and 2 are working but pass 3 (call method reply_to_HLS_authentication) is not working because the meter seems to require a "glo action request" (0xCB) instead of an "action request" (0xC3).

Is it possible to use a glo action request for this step?
