Hi!

I have a meter type that seems a bit different when you try to get the invocation counter.

When you connect, you give it your client system title and you receive a meter system title. I need to use those values in order to get the invocation counter and you have to use an ACTION object instead of a GET-REQUEST.

I don't think this is standard DLMS.

I just wanted to check if you recognize this and it is included in Gurux.NET? Should go ahead and implement my custom solution for i?

Its me again. I have a meter, that pushes a decrypted message every second. I can view it manually by using the Translator tool in Director by inserting the message and the block cipher key. Now i also got it to work with python, using your library and the classes „GXDLMSTranslator“, „TranslatorOutputType“ and „GXByteBuffer“.

However, i only have an ESP8266 near the Meter. That can not run Python. And i could not find the above mentioned Classes in your Ansi C library. Do you have an idea how i could get the translator running on ESP8266?

In the GuruxDLMSClientExample example, the application is launched with the parameters - IP, port, as well as the parameter 'o' - OutputFile (as I understand the file with DLMS meters objects)
Is there an example of the application launch line and this file (any) for Windows? This would make learning code easier.

May somebody help me with the error I get when trying to decode a message from my meter?
I'm using a Siemens IM350 SmartMeter that is pushing messages once a second without sending anything to it, so no initialization happening.
The data I get is encrypted with a block cypher key.
When useing Gurux DLMS Transfer and the correct cypher key I get a perfectly fine decoded XML with all the data I need.
When trying the same with GXDLMSTranslator in Python I get the error message:

python module doesn't seem to handle enums . i've based my code on example code from official git repo. i can read objects without much problem but whenever i try scalers/unit/whateer that have enum values i get error from diffrent places in code trying to make unallowed operations on int objects (my meter returns int eg "<ContextId>1</ContextId>" instead of enum object

I'm "learning" python since yesterday and you can imagine that I don't have that much clue what I'm actually doing :-)
