Parsing of Date and Time is impossible in Gurux.dlms.delphi

Hello, Sir

I found estimated bug of gurux.dlms.delphi source code as bellows

(1) Thanks to example of TGXProgram, I got Get-Response from meter using Client.GetObjectRequest() and PDU data is "09 0C 07 E3 0A 0C 06 12 0D 1F 01 80 00 02"
it is date and time data of meter.

(2) When above PDU data is applied to Client.ParseObjects(Reply.Data, True), Invalid response Exception error is occurred as bellows;

Gurux.DLMS

Hello,

We are runnning the following command to do an Active Current readout.

We have taken care of the necessary low level security clearance and all commands prior to this command like all three phase voltages, all three phase currents and the power factors are responding just fine.

Tx data 7E A0 19 03 41 DC 4A B3 E6 E6 00 C0 01 81 00 03 01 00 A1 07 00 FF 02 00 09 4F 7E

Can you please advice on what we are missing?

Get Value From OBIS Code

Forums
Gurux.DLMS

Hello,

I have compiled and able to successfully run Gurux DLMS Client Example [ C Language ] in Ubuntu 14.0 Linux.
I want to know how can I directly read value of register based on OBIS Code. Is there any function in C which I can use to read value of register say for Example ReadValue("1.0.14.7.0.255") -> Return Value.
I have tried below function
ret = com_read(connection, obj, 2);
but how can I get / Print value for Index 2 [ want only value not Index 2 : .....]using above function.

Simple Python code example needed
Hello all

I am interested in experimenting with DLMS/COSEM component but I am having a little trouble using the sample code as I am not so experienced in Python

The idea is simply to readout a given data from a DLMS based meter using the optical comm. (e.g. "voltage on L1 ..")

I m interested to know how to use available class and modules of GXDLMS + GXserial for reading and writing

Control Byte understanding?

Forums
Gurux.DLMS

Hello,

We noticed that the control byte keeps changing for every command. We read the GReen book but it was not very clear about how the control byte is calculated.

Can someone explain how to calculate the control byte for various instantaneous parameters like Voltage, Current, Power Factor, Active and Reactive Power etc.?

Thanks

Ambimat
