Trying to connect DLMSDirector with L&T watthour meter.

Hi,

I am trying to communicate with the L&T AC static watthour meter ER300P through the Gurux GXDLMSDirector program. Meter is directly connected with RS232 to a TTL (serial). I am also attaching a screenshot of the settings. But I am getting a warning message of timeout as "Failed to receive reply from the device in given time". Is there any changes in the settings?

Hi,

Are you using an optical probe or RS-232? If you are using RS-232 are you using TC/IP or USB to RS-232 converter?

Can you connect if you set authentication to None?

Hi,

The issue was solved. The connection was ok but the configuration settings in DLMSDirector was wrong. We changed the settings as shown in the attached file. Thank you for your reply.
