Getting access error : Other reason

Hi,

i'm trying to write values to obis 1.0.0.8.0.255, but getting access error : other reason, even though i have read write access, i am able to update other obis though having exactle same properties using dlms director.

i also hava java implementation to read and update obis, there as well i am able to write other obis except this one, getting same error there as well.

Hi,

There are multiple reasons why it might fail. Check first that you try to write value using the same value type.

If this fails with GXDLMSDirector, then you need to ask the meter vendor if is it possible to write this object at all.
