Not able to read Meter data while creating simulator(xml) file

Hi,

I am trying to create dlms simulator file for my meter but I am not able to get values from meter.

I am using below command.

C:\Users\Test\Desktop\gurutry\Gurux.DLMS.Net-master\Gurux.DLMS.Net-master\Gurux.DLMS.Simulator.Net\bin\Debug\netcoreapp3.1>Gurux.DLMS.Simulator.Net.exe -S COM4 -o simulator_template.xml -t Verbose

Failed to receive reply from the device in given time.

Meter has password as "1111111X" and works with setttings as 9600,8,None,1.

My meter is Linyang and works on DLMS/Cosem protocol.

Please let me know solution for this issue.

Hi,

I believe that your client or server address is different from what the meter expects and the meter doesn't reply because of that.

Can you read the meter with the manufacturer's application? Can you get a hex trace to me so I can check the correct settings from the bytes?

I am able to communicate with meter now to generate xml file. But I am getting access error as below.
