Hello,

I would like to know which HLS authentications require password? I see HLS password, but I am not quite sure which authentications use it. Is password used as a secret? As far as I understand only GMAC and ECDSA does not require password, right? Which values you should know before connection for SHA1, MD5?

Hi,

Hi,

High, MD5, SHA1, and SHA256 require a password. Password is not used as a secret. Both client and server generate the challenge that is with the password used as a secret.

BR,
Mikko
