Profile generic value not coming with scaler

Hi Mikko,

I have two different manufacturer meters which follows IS15959 standard.

While reading Instant data profile from one meter getting data with scaler unit.
And from another meter, we are getting value without scaler unit.

So, Is value converted at the meter end or at the client end.
How to apply scaler unit with values that came from the meter?

Can you please provide your input?

Hi,

If scaler is set for the register it's used when register or profile generic is read. Some IS15959 meters don't set scaler for the register and they are saving scaler and unit for the specific profile generic table.

Read register and check what is the scaler and is it set.
