When using ECDSA in DLMS communication, the data needs to be compressed, but I haven't found the compression and decompression algorithm in the latest C # language source code, haven't I found it? Or open source has not yet implemented this algorithm?

If it is open source and has not implemented compression algorithm, do you have any plans? If so, when will it be made public.

I don't understand the examples in ITU-T V.44 standard documents. I hope they have been implemented to provide open source learning.

Hi,

Hi,

We are implementing V.44 for Security Suite 1 and 2 at the moment. I don't know the exact release date yet.

sir:
Thank you very much for your timely reply. I'm a big fan of you. I'm looking forward to your release of Suite (1) and Suite (2) with V.44. I've personally spent weeks on V.44 compression and decompression. Thank you again for your hard work.

I've been reading the code in my spare time these days. I found that the "Invoke(GXDLMSSettings settings, ValueEventArgs e)" method in the GXDLMSSecuritySetup class has implemented "key_Agreement: generate ephemeral keys ", but generate shared secret has not been implemented, so I want to know when I can see open source computing shared secret. thank you!

Hi,

Hi,

We are releasing open source versions for Security Suite 1 (NIST P-256) and 2 (NIST P-384) for Java and C# in next week. For other programming languages, support will start to come after that.

Mikko

Hi,

Hi,
Is there a plan for the implementation of DLMS data compression using ITU-T Rec. V.44 in C language source code ?
Many thanks ...

Hi beatmania,

Hi beatmania,

Please, create a new topic if you have a new question. V.44 compression is in the testing phase at the moment and it will come, but it will take some time.

BR,
Mikko
