Iskraemeco MT880

Hi guys,
I was trying to connect to a Iskraemeco MT880 via Terminal but with no success.
I tried using the following configuration for GXDLMSClient:

Client = new GXDLMSClient
{
UseLogicalNameReferencing = true,
Standard = Standard.DLMS,
InterfaceType = InterfaceType.HDLC,
ClientAddress = 1,
ServerAddress = GXDLMSClient.GetServerAddressFromSerialNumber(76127083, 1),
Authentication = Authentication.Low,
Password = System.Text.Encoding.ASCII.GetBytes("12345678")
};

After succesful modem connnection, how SNRMRequest I have:
7E A0 0A 00 02 7E 27 03 93 FD F6 7E

But the meter doesn't give me any response.

I also tried with the GXDLMSDirector with many configuration options but even using the tool I don't get any response to SNRM.

Any ideas or suggestions other than throwing this meter away?

Hi Christian,

I'm sorry for the slow reply. For some reason, I didn't notice your post.
Have you try GXDLMSDirector with the default Iskra settings?
Client address 64, Logical address 1 and Physical address 11.

We don't have MT-880 at the moment, so I can't test this.

We are a little bit busy before the summer holidays, so we can't check this at the moment.

Try to set the server Physical address to 4A (74) and logical address to 1.
Your server or client address is different than the meter expects.

I have applied the change but still receive no replies.
This is the new SNRM sended by director.

TX: 7E A0 08 02 95 C9 93 7F 1F 7E

The meter should be in standard configuration for the Italian market but there is no way to make it work.

Hi,

Do you have the meter that you can access with the serial port connection? If you have, you can get the server address for the terminal/modem connection if you can read the meter settings. The server address for modem connection might be different than for serial port connection. Is meter reply anything if you send /?!\r\n?
