Hi Mikko,

I want to read IS16444 meter using HDLC mode E interface on serial media.

How to read meter data using HDLC mode E ?

I have one meter of IS16444 version.

What is the following frame format and how it works ?
"/?" + deviceSerialNumber + "!\r\n"

Hi,

You need to select HdlcWithModeE as the interface. The frame format is explained in IEC 62056-21 Direct local data exchange.
