Hi Mikko,

I am very thankful to you for the great support till today, however still have one more query.

Can you please let me know that at what maximum numbers of connections can be handled by Gurux.DLMS? I checked the Gurux.DLMS.Simulator also.

Thanks
Khushbu

Hi,

Hi,

You need to create one server or client for each connection. Servers might share the same objects, but you need to create their own server for each connection.

Mikko

Thanks Mikko,

Thanks Mikko,

I've tried to check but after trying for 213 connections and received following error.

Gurux.DLMS.Simulator.Net.exe -p 1000 -x simulator_template.xml -t Verbose -N 213
DLMS HDLC Logical Name simulator start in ports 1000-1212.
Associations:
Without authentication.
An attempt was made to access a socket in a way forbidden by its access permissions.

Can you please help me on this?

Hi,

Hi,

You can't use the TCP/IP socket. I believe that some other application is using it. Try to change it from 1000 to 2000. Do you have a firewall that might block it?

Mikko

Thanks Mikko,

Thanks Mikko,

I tried from using 2000 and able to open 10000 ports with following message;
Only one usage of each socket address (protocol/network address/port) is normally permitted.

Any suggestion?

Regards,
Khushbu

Hi,

Hi,

There is another application that is using that port. The simulator is improved to skip used ports.
Get the latest version.

Mikko

Hi Mikko

Hi Mikko

I tried to connect Simulator port with my system and tried to read clock data, it worked fine with Director but from my source it fails due to sending Disconnect request. Can you please suggest anything?
Also unable to debug the simulator source.

Khushbu

Hi,

Hi,

I believe that your settings are wrong. Check the client address and authentication level if you are not receiving any reply.

Hi,

Hi,

You need to remove the Gurux.DLMS reference from the simulator and add a reference to the source codes to enable debugging.
