Hi,

Hi,

You can read E350 using GXDLMSDirector. Download it and select L+G as the manufacturer.
We don't have EM5100 and when I read the docs I believe that it's using IEC 62053-21.

Hi,

Hi,

You can try to get a readout from both of them. Send "/?!\r\n" to the serial port and wait what meter replies.

Hi,

Hi,

Have you try with gyr E350? Can you ask meter vendor more information from EM5100?

E350 u3400 uses KF2.1

E350 u3400 uses KF2.1 protocol, and E5100 uses KF1 protocol.
So the vendor ask to purchase their empwin software which cost like 1700 dollars.
it has driver software like easydatareader_king and king2, that can help to send command and read data.

i had a peak of the driver folder, it has like 10 different drivers DLMS, KING, KING2, IEC, EDMI MODBUS etc...
I thought all meter has to be IEC compatible...

Hi,

Hi,

Is there DLMS label on the meter? If there is then you can communicate with DLMS. I don't know if there are different versions from E350.

Mikko

Hi,

Hi,

Your meter is using ANSI C12.18 protocol. It means that you can't use DLMS to read it.
You need another app to read it.

Mikko
