Hi

I obtained the list of COSEM objects present in the meter by using readAllObjects method. I do not see any Push Setup Object in the retrieved list of objects. Is there any way I can set up this object on the meter and use it to fetch readings at regular intervals?

Thanks
Yatin

Push objects not visible

Hi,

If Push objects are not shown in association view there might be two reason for this:
1. Your meter is not supporting Push.
2. You must use higher authentication level to see Push Objects.

Thanks for your reply. It seems the meter is not supporting the push.
Is there any other way to push the readings etc from the meter? I see the push setup was introduced in 2013 version of DLMS COSEM. How were the readings or the events like Power failure etc were sent to the client before that?

Thanks
Yatin

Hi,

You can ask is your meter supporting "Event notification" or "Information report" services.
