I am having some issues with the DLMS Director. When I try to connect to the meter and I have to select COM port, the COM port values have some characters behind them. So like my BT probe is attached to COM3 and DLMS director is showing COM3i or COM3É or some other strange character. So when I try to connect I get the "COM port does not exist" error.
This one still exists. Also characters are being added to the meter response, and DLMSDirector throws an error (Invalid responce). The meter replies with a message that also has strange characters in front. See the log in pastebin at http://pastebin.com/ryUYgNyx.
First check that you have latest version from the driver. This strange string after COM is coming from the driver. We do not make any modifications.
Second. What operating system you are using and what .Net version?
This other issue is because someone (your strobe) is adding extra byte before IEC reply.
We can improve this on GXDLMDirector. We'll change this and release new version on end of this week.
