DLMSDirector

Hi

Having a Siemens IM350 (Wiener Netze)

Via optical customer interface i get notifications every seconds, containing meter counter and current consumption:

Parsed from NotificationBody:
Writing data: textin1: 06/08/2022, 19:34:03: Counter: 1725.335 kWh, Current: 2.269 kW

Now i trie to connect using DLMS Director.
Meter has printed some OBIS codes on casing - see screenshot meter_obis_codes.
But DLMS Director do not list these codes - how can i read for e.g. code 1.7.0 (current consumption) ?

Hi,

Hi,

You have connect without the authentication level and those values are not shown on this association view. You need to change the authentication level from None to Low or high and change the client address and password. Then establish the connection again and read the association view again (select "File" and "refresh").

Ah ok I understand.

Ah ok I understand.
For the client address and password, I assume that I have to contact Wiener Netze - or is there a default ?br, alex

Hi,

Hi,

You need to ask them because they can be anything. If you have block cipher and authentication keys you can try to connect with GMAC authentication. I know that some Wiener Netze meters are sending those values as push messages several times in a minute. If values are sent as a push message, you don't need to establish the connection for the meter. You need just listen to the serial port and parse received push messages.

yeah right: I get the push

yeah right: I get the push messages every second and with the block cipher key I can successfully decrypt the data.
Out of my own interest I wanted to see if I can also read out these values using DLMS director.

Hi,

Hi,

You can read all the data if you get the password for the meter from the Wiener Netze.

Mikko
