I am following the video Tutorial from
To establish connection with my Arduino Mega.
I have compiled the server code from Github, but I am getting strange output compared to the ones in the video (picture included).
Also when i try to connect to the device with serial monitor open, my access to the port is denied. I cannot have both serial monitor open and be connected to the device at one time.

I believe that your serial port settings are wrong and for that reason, your data looks strange.
One serial port is for tracing and the other is for communicating. Change serial port for GXDLMSDirector settings.
