I have Iskra AM550-T (serial: 83 694 327) connected via serial port. I try to connect several times with different parameters but all time get errors like this
15:53:48 Initializing serial connection.
15:53:49 Send SNRM request.

15:53:54 Data send failed. Try to resend 1/3
15:53:59 Data send failed. Try to resend 2/3
15:54:04 Failed to receive reply from the device in given time.
15:54:04 Disconnect request
15:54:04 Send Disconnect request.

I think that something wrong with addresses.
One of setting see in attachment.
In one manual (for MT880) I found information " MT880 meters support single byte HDLC addressing. Default HDLC address set in the meter is calculated as follows: HDLC address = Last two digits from meter serial number + 10H " , but this don't work also.
Can anybody say right setting to connect to this device ?

MT880 settings might be different than AM550.
Try to change client address to from 64 to 1 and logical server to 0 and physical server address to 2B (Last two fight 27 + 16 = 27 = 0x2B).

Do you have Low or High-level password for the meter? Or is this meter own by an electricity company?
If it's an electricity company meter, it might be that you can't connect to the meter and it is configured to send push messages. Are you receiving any data if you just listen to the serial port?

the problem was that default speed of rs-485 on meter is 115200 (but not 9600 I used).
