Hello Mikko,

I'm facing an issue while reading full association's data in GuruX software.
I'm testing meter according to "Indian standard" for "Meter Reader Association" and "Utility Specific Association". Connection is successful for both the associations, and interface classes are also reflecting correctly.
The detailed explanation for the issue is given below;

Case 1 - When I'm trying to read whole association data for all interface classes (By selecting particular association, right click select read). Initial 10 to 15 objects are reflecting fine, but most of the objects' access rights changed to No Access and no data is reflecting.

Case 2- But when I'm trying to read the data individually for each Interface class (By selecting particular interface class, right click select read) it is reflecting fine.

I have added trace log for case 1 below. Can you check that and let me now about this.

Case 1 - Whole association data read

[Trace removed]

PS: Both associations have same objects of around 420.

Have a good day..!!!

Thank you and Regards

Hi,

Hi,

Because data is ciphered I can't check the bytes but it seems that your meter is not implementing access rights and they are 0 (No access). Contact your meter vendor about this.

Hello Mikko,

Hello Mikko,

I have checked with the access right, and its present for all the objects, and its not "No Access". As I mentioned earlier as well, when I'm reading each Interface class separately, values for all obis codes are reflecting fine. But when I try to read all data for association at once, I'm getting "No Access" issue.

Thanks and Regards,

Hi Anudeep,

Hi Anudeep,

If the meter is returning "No Access" when you are reading the association view there is nothing that we can do for it. You need to ask the meter manufacturer to fix it.

Try this. Try to read the association view again when you changed authentication to US. Select "Refresh" from "File" menu. Now you can't read objects anymore.

Mikko
