DLMSDirector

Hi Mikko,

I have set my PC's IPV6 address in push setup object.
When I push object list from GXDLMSDirector, I got message "Action Accomplish". Before that I have started Notification from menubar.

But there is no any notification shown in GXDLMSDirector.

How to get notification over notification window ?

Following are logs from GXDLMSDirector Trace View

Hi,

Hi,

"Action Accomplish" indicates that you have trigger the push notification.
You can start noifications right away before triggering the push event.

Is your meter sending Push messages to the TCP/IP server or for the client?
Note that push messages are shown on the Notification view.

Mikko

Hi Mikko,

Hi Mikko,

Meter sending Push messages to the TCP/IP server only. (I have started TCP listener on my PC.
In that also we are not able to seen any notifications.)

Hi,

Hi,

Check that meter address in Push object is the same as your PC.
Also make sure that meter can connect to your PC.

If your meter is communicating over the GPRS your PC address must be public

Hi Mikko,

Hi Mikko,

Meter was not able to connect to my PC address due to private IPV6 assigned. Hence push notification was not received.

Using public address notification received successfully.

Thanks for support and suggestions.

Hi Bhaumik,

Hi Bhaumik,

Thank you for this info. I'm glad that this solved. Sometimes it might be a pain when messages are lost.

BR,
Mikko
