Do you have been read data from A1140 by GXDLMSDirector? Can you help me config GXDLMSDirector to read data from A1140, please? Thanks

Hi,

Elster is using IEC 62056-21 protocol. That is ASCII protocol and GXDLMSDirector is not supporting it.

As I know, I should send "/?" + deviceSerialNumber + "!\r\n", but i don`t know? what is "deviceSerialnumber"?

Hi,

You can skip serial number if you have only one meter. Serial number is needed if there are several meters that are sharing same connection. Example RS-485.

Thanks for answer. According to IEC IEC62056-21 protocol handshake. I send command "/?!\r\n" and meter should answered, that is right? Because i use example, and meter do not answered.Please, help.

Hi,

This is correct. Your serial port settings should be.
Baudrate: 9600
Stop bits: 1.
Parity: Even.
