I use director to verify Mode E.
my device properties as att. file,
(start protocal : IEC / name : pro / manufacturer : iskraemeco / serial mode )
when i press connect, director will be sent /?! by uart_tx.
my meter sent "/pro2isk000654321" to director, but director will be stop and show " B0 " and " Failed to receive reply device "
I dont know some thing wrong. can i read more detial error message?

I Sent "/LPZ2...."
Director still show error message" Fail Receive reply device "
but sometime, director show manu name should be "LPZ"
when I receive "/?! " , should i delay before sent "/LPZ.... " ?

Your reply seems correct. Is there a DLMS label on the cover of the meter?
