Hi Mikko,

Is there any validation for System Title in Gurux.DLMS in response parsing?

I have interchange two meters system title.
And try to read the clock from meter, In that AARE response validated and got the proper response.

So, In AARE validation can we do system title validation?

Hi,

Meter returns system title in AARE, but it can't be validated because the only thing that is required from the system title is size. It must be 8 bytes long. Usually system title consists of the FLAG and serial number, but that is not used in all the meters or sub-standards from DLMS.

Thanks for the update.

So, If we have multiple meters with different serial numbers and having the same configuration then is there any way to validate the request.

From the configuration point of view can we identify the request is valid for that meter or not?

Hi,

If you are using the same communication channel, like RS-485 for all the meter you need to use the serial number as a server address.
