Hello,
I'm getting this error when I try to run a docker container after I updated to the latest docker image

Your MySQL server is not available. Check the host name.

MySql server is up and running. I created a new user with all privileges, Yet I can't access the app. I'm using docker

Hi,

This is a clear MySQL connection error. I try with empty MySQL and get the latest docker. It starts to work without problems.

Try to install MySQL client for the docker.

Open docker using the terminal and run this.

apt-get update && apt-get install -y default-mysql-client

Then try to connect to your MySQL DB.

mysql -h YOUR_HOST_NAME -u USER_NAME -p

I believe that you get the same error message.

Check also the firewall.
