Hi!

Thanks for the great piece of software. I'm trying to get Gurux.DLMS.AMI up and running to read a Landis+Gyr ZMD410 through one of their CU-XE111 IP modems.

Works fine when using GXDLMSDirector, I can read the meter and all its registers.

But then importing the .gxc file as a template and adding in the device in AMI, the console always returns "Connection is permanently rejected. The application context name is not supported."

Initially thought it could be because of Logical Name Referencing, but toggling the switch in the device properties did not help. Do you have any clue as to what could be happening?

Hi,

Please, don't post images. Send text from the console. It's easirt to check what is wrong.

Your meter is using short name and Gurux.DLMS.AMI seems to use logical name referencing.
We'll checks this and let you know tomorrow.

Hi Ian,

Get the latest version from GitHub. You need to create a device template again. The old version didn't support Short Name referencing.

Thanks, I was watching the repo yesterday and retried with the new release a few minutes after the changes were pushed. I'm using the in-memory database, so I had to recreate the template and device anyway. My previous response is the result of that test: it now prints "Connection is permanently rejected. No reason is given."

Hi,

Do you try to read this manually or are you using a schedule? How many meters you have?
Are you using virtual meters or real meter?

I'm trying a manual read for now, but will schedule a read each second in the future. The make and model are specified in my first message, and this is a real meter.

I can give you the host and ports if it's useful to you: the meter is reachable over the Internet.
