Push Notification Parsing

Forums
Gurux.Net

Hi Mikko

I am getting the push notification data from the meter and also able to see parsed data in to GXDLMSDirector in Notification window.

In that how we can check that which objects data are received ?

In GXDLMSDirector, we can see parsed value in XML format. Is there anything from which we can understand that which objects data are there in push notification?

Failed making connection

Forums
Gurux.Net

I'm having problem connecting to a meter using the Client.Example from python and c# through IP. Using GXDLMSDirector works, but with the example it doesn't.

This is how I run the example:
python main.py -r ln -c 1 -s 1 -h 10.242.26.172 -p 16000 -P 12345678 -a Low

And a get "Failed to receive reply from the device in given time". Is ther another configuration I need to set up or maybe I'm setting something wrong?

This is the configuration that works in the Director

GXNet to UdpClient

Forums
Gurux.Net

Hi,

I'm using a GXNet library to make tcp and udp connections, I have problems with a udp connection:

How is it possible GXNet.Send has its attribute 'socket' (being socket a IDisposable type) as UdpClient type? because, if I call back Send method (from GXNet), I'm using GXNet object, not UdpClient object, so the attribute socket will be null.

How do I can pass UdpClient as GXNet?

Thanks

Why does GXNet socket attribute become null after starting a thread?

Forums
Gurux.Net

Hi,

I'm following the Gurux.DLMS.Meter.Listener.Net example but when I try to start thread with my personal class method DeviceManager.StartManageDevice() (class builds like GXDLMSReader, with same attribute), the private attribute "socket" of GXNet object becomes null and I can't send and receive data.

How can I read first push from meter with GXNet?

Forums
Gurux.Net

Hi All,

I'm trying to create a server tcp/udp using Gurux.DLMS.Meter.Listener example; when my meter connects to server correctly, it raises OnClientConnected() event but here I can't read the push frame meter sends to the server.

How can I read this first frame with GXNet before GXDLMSReader.ReadAll()?

Thanks

Invocation Counter updation

Forums
Gurux.Net

Hi Mikko,

I am trying to connect - disconnect meter multiple times. As meter required Invocation counter value higher than previous value for reconnecting.

I can connect meter from GXDLMSDirector only by giving the updated value of the Invocation counter in device properties.

GXDLMSDirector always takes Invocation counter value as 0 in reconnect.

Is there any other settings in GXDLMSDirector from which it takes updated Invocation Counter value?

Did not receive AARE from meter

Forums
Gurux.Net

Hi Mikko,

Currently, we are trying to access the Meter (IS15959) using IPv6.

We read that IPv6 address from Meter using the Serial interface, and then Connect using the TCP interface using the IPv6 address that we have got.

Now since we are not able to properly Disconnect from Serial Interface, the later TCP communication using IPv6, did not receive AARE from the meter. Can you please provide any feedback for this.

And which interface (HDLC/Wrapper/WirelessMBus) should be used for TCP communication?

following are the logs from GXDLMSDirector:
