WienerNetze meter reading

Forums
Gurux.DLMS

Hi!

I received a smartmeter from the local powercompany and recenently they allowed me to enable the (IR) userinterface to read out data.

The problem is that they are not very forthcoming with information regarding this interface so I'm not 100% sure how to implement the readout of the meter.

Here are the facts and what I know so far:

Hardware:
ISKRA (Iskraemeco) AM550
It has an optical interface (IR LEDs)
I have a USB to Serial to IR LED interface Cable

Return Code: DLMS_ERROR_CODE_INVALID_CLIENT_ADDRESS

Hello Gurux,
I've successfully compile Gurux.dlms.c on Arduino both Mega2560 and ESP32 board, and connect it to the Actaris (Itron) SL7000 (SL761B070 2004) trough RS232 interface.
can someone explain how to fill the parameter of the "cl_init()"
I have tried:
cl_init(&meterSettings, 1, 16, 1, DLMS_AUTHENTICATION_NONE, NULL, DLMS_INTERFACE_TYPE_HDLC);
and also
cl_init(&meterSettings, 1, 16, 1, DLMS_AUTHENTICATION_LOW, "ABCDEFGH", DLMS_INTERFACE_TYPE_HDLC);

L&G ZMD not sending deviation information

Forums
Gurux.DLMS

We are trying to set our meters to local time instead of utc time. Which we used to do.
This means that we have set the offset and timezone info in the meter Clock object. We have done this correctly.

When we read the buffer (ReadRowsByRange) of most meters, we receive a GXDateTime per row that contains a correct DateTimeOffset for our time zone.

How could client (AMR application) get disconnection status from the meter?

Forums
Gurux.DLMS

Hi Mikko,

My AMR sample program is reading data from the meter continuously in one thread. I want run to check connection status in another thread. But how will client (AMR application) get disconnection status from the meter? Is any call back function there?

If AMR application get disconnection status, then it could try to reconnect to the meter.

Kindly suggest me what should I do to get disconnection status?

Thanks & Regards,
Pradson

Can't set capture_period for HAN P1 objects

Forums
Gurux.DLMS

Hi
I am trying to set capture period for the HAN port P1 on a Star meter (obis code 0.0.21.0.0.255).
Reading the period works just fine using GXDLMSProfileGeneric, however when I try to set it I get " Device reports a unavailable object."

var gxDlmsObject = new GXDLMSProfileGeneric("0.0.21.0.0.255");
GxDlmsClient.Write(profile, 4);

Thanks in advance
