I want to connect my Landis+Gyr E250 DLMS meter with DLMS director through optical port.
Does dlms director supports communication through optical port ?
if yes then how can i connect this ?

Try to select "Logical name Referencing". New Landis+Gyr meters are using Logical name Referencing.

I have selected "Logical name Referencing". Now i am able to get some data. Thanks.
But i am getting only two parameters "Logical device name & Manufacturing number".
How can i get more data ?? How to read voltage and power of meter ??

Hi,
Change authentication from None to Low. You need also set the password.
Then make the connection and select "Refresh" from "File" menu.

You need to ask right password from the meter vendor. In GXDLMSDirector meter settings it's under authentication level.

Hi,
You can change the password after you have connected to the meter with the correct password.
Client address must be correct. I don't know what address your meter is using for Low authentication, but you are getting the error if that is wrong. :-)
