DLMSDirector

Hi,

So the meter that i am working with requires a <Calling-AP-title> tag within the AARQ. So, i have been getting "Unknown Error" from GXDLMSDirector after the AARQ is sent because I assume that the meter doesn't accept the AARQ. Maybe this is because the AARE reply from the meter cannot be understood by the GXDLMSDirector, thus causing the "Unknown Error". I can't seem to find a place to add this information under the "Device Properties". Is there a solution to this problem?
Also, the meter uses UI frame, not I frame, though I'm not sure if this has any effect on the "Unknown Error".

Best Regards,
Gavin

Calling-AP-title

Hi,

You must use right authentication level.
With None and Low "Calling-AP-title" is not sent because it's not needed.
Change authentication level correct one and it's send.

Authentication

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. May i ask what is the difference between the "Authentication" underneath the "Device Settings" tab and the "Authentication" under the "Secured Connections" tab? The AARQ that i am attempting to replicate has many different elements. I will send the log file to your E-mail.
Thanks for your help!

Gavin

Authentication

Hi,
Authentication on "Device Settings" page tell what authentication type is used.
Authentication Key on "Secured Connections" is GMAC Authentication Key.

Log File

Hi,

I check your log file. You are setting Optional usage field of the negotiated quality of service component and proposed quality of service component, but they are not send.
Remove that and it starts to work.

Correct data is this:

Dedicated Key

Hi,

Thanks for your reply! That helped me a lot. However, now i have a problem with Dedicated Keys. In the User-Information section of the AARQ, i have this "BE 34 04 32 21 30 30 00 00 00 01 28 9B EC 73 5E 22 47 E5 C8 20 92 C3 FC 02 50 76 3B 8E 90 C1 70 BB 01 54 DC 06 5F 5C 2C 6D D7 98 E9 97 60 B8 25 E5 B9 02 38 FD B7".
I tried to follow IEC 62056-53, but i don't see a clear definition for the encodings of dedicated keys within the user-information. Is there a way to understand each portion of the user-information field? I've sent the complete AARQ log to your email.
Thanks for your time.

Best Regards,
Gavin
