Hi,
I've managed to connect to the meter on the optical interface but I cannot do the same connection on the RS232 interface. Would someone managed to do this connection and can help me with information about settings, cable pinout, etc?
Model settings usually don't affect serial port settings. If you can read the meter using an optical probe find IEC HDLC setup object and check what is serial port baud rate. https://www.gurux.fi/Gurux.DLMS.Objects.GXDLMSIecHdlcSetup
Then change baud rate and change interface to HDLC and try to connect. If it will fail, you can try to use GXDLMSDirector "HDLC Address resolver". https://youtu.be/BeaWKmyMwuE
Hi Mikko,
I've already done this, the settings are ok. I've tested with a serial port sniffer and the meter outputs nothing. I suspect a hardware issue on that serial port or on the meter. Keep investigating.
Thank you,

I've noticed that the meter used to have a modem before. Maybe the modem configuration have to be removed?

Hi Arian,
Hi Arian,
The reason is usually in serial port settings. Sometimes the cable isn't correct, but usually, it's the baud rate.
