We are designing AMR LTE modem to read meter reading via RS232 port with DLMS protocol and send the reading to meter management software. Do you know that mostly meter management software requires DLMS protocol as well? To design the AMR LTE modem with DLMS, where shall I start? Please point me to the right documentation.
By the way, if anyone have the structure overview of reading from meter and sending to the server, it will be good to visualize the data flow.
Easies way to go is if you can implement MQTT brokes to the modem. Client app sends data in MQTT frames. It's working well with different meters, but a lot of data is sent between the client and meter.
Another option is that you create DLMS client app inside of modem. This app collects data from the meter and sends it to the HES. Something like this: http://gurux.fi/DataCollector
