Gurux DLMS for Java

Hi,

I have some Indra smart meters which are under one concentrator (RCC). Only the concentrator is available on the network (TCP/IP), of which I know the IP address and the port. I have 2 questions:

1) Why can't I read those data using Gurux Director? With Grx Director, I choose Microelectronik manufacturer, fill the settings with IP (192.168.0.2), port (4059) and the physical server (1, 20 or 23...). But it's possible only with Client address = 16 (0x10), which is the public client profile. Then, I can't read all the data.

2) Considering the code gurux.dlms.java, is it possible to read my smart meters? The problem is that there is a concentrator between the gurux.dlms.java application and the smart meters.

Please, help me!

Thanks,
Danilo.

Hello

Hello

After reading Administrator post, I have to mention: I am a master's degree student at Universidade de Sao Paulo (Brazil), in ENERQ Lab, which deals with smart grids. Currently, we are attempting to connect some devices that we have acquired.

I am currently trying to use Gurux.dlms.java for academic purposes, not commercial, in order to read Indra smart meters data.

I keep the question in the previous post, because I really need your help.

Thanks,
Danilo.

Reading Indra SM Data

Hi,

1. Is your password correct? You must also check your Client address.
In general different manufacturers have different settings and if settings are wrong,
meter is not returning anything.

2. Usually you can access your meters using serial number as Server Address.
There is method that you can use to count server address from serial number.
GXDLMSClient.getServerAddress.

BR,

Mikko
