Settings for configuring GuruxDLMS Director with Indian standards

Hi Mikko,

Can you please help me to configure the appropriate settings for connecting L&T EP300R Watthour meter with GuruxDLMS Director for reading the 3 phase voltage, current, energy from it. We have connected the meter to PC over rj45 cable with rs232 converter. What would be the next steps that we should do in the GuruxDLMS Director?

Hi,

Select "Indian standard" as a manufacturer, select HDLC as the interface and make the connection.

Hi Mikko,

We have connected the meter successfully. At the current window there is only some basic things like manufacture ID, clock etc.. What should I do to get the current, voltage, energy etc.. parameters?

Hi,

You need to establish the connection to the meter before you can read anything from the meter. I propose that you play with GXDLMSDirector. It will help you to understand DLMS meters.

Hi Mikko,

I have added the Object for Power Factor (1.0.33.7.0.255) in Extended Register. But it only returns value for one time once the connection is established. What will be the possible issue?

Hi,

Values are saved to the database. Value is read every time you press the read button.
You can use the scheduler to do value reading periodically.
